Hunza Handicrafts

Hunza is a beautiful valley situated in the north of Pakistan.Hunza is well known for its
meticulous beauty. The reason which attracts the tourist to this valley is the historical building
renowned as Baltit Fort it is a cultural heritage. It is located at the peak of hunza valley which
reminds us of our years old cultural and civilization as it is 800 years old.This historical fort
is also equipped with a museum where a number of antiques pieces are kept. The most fascinating
thing about fort is the view of valley from the roof of fort ,where we can also see the summit of
Hunza glaciers which seems tall and literally hide with snow.Hunza people are very kind and generous
they show hostility towards the forneigner and serve them with the Hunza local food.This valley
has got excellence in their handicrafts,gems stone,carpets,shawls and amazing thing is that these
are made by the special people of Hunza at KADO rehabilitation centre.
Other than this hunza is also famous for its dry fruit well known as Hunza dry friuts.
